Company Description
History: Dancing Lily was created by Pam Butterfield in 1994 when she opened in a small space at The Blue Cat Mall in Powell River, B.C.
Dancing Lily was named after the inspiration of her daughter, Lili, who passionately grew up dancing combined with the english flower fairy series.
At this point Pam only carried women's clothing and some jewelry.
In October 1995 Dancing Lily moved into a larger space in Powell River. At the new store Dancing Lily began to sell women's clothing, unique furniture, jewelry, gifts/accessories, Persian rugs, home decor, and even seasonal prom dresses.
The store closed in 2001 after the family's home burnt down and they decided to relocate to Victoria, B.C.
Now in 2016 Pam's daughter, Lili Butterfield, has decided to reopen as The Dancing Lily on Lower Johnson.
After 13 years in the retail & restaurant industry Lili has gained the experience and drive to follow her dream to continue her mom's legacy but in her own vision.
The new boutique will sell men's & women's clothing, accessories, gifts, and more.
The Butterfield family is excited to bring The Dancing Lily back to life.
