We contacted Ascent Yard Care in June of 2023 to provide a quote to eradicate the bamboo in our front yard. When we met Jake Innes (owner/operator) he came to our home, assessed the extent of the bamboo in person, explained the process of removal, and indicated he provided a guarantee the bamboo would be permanently removed. Jake indicated he would return to continue treating and the property would be monitored to ensure permanent eradication of the bamboo. Work was undertaken in July and October. We were invoiced and paid in full in September of 2023. We subsequently contacted Jake by email in November 2023 and indicated the bamboo did not appear to be completely dead. He responded and stated the bamboo was dormant and would die in April or May of 2024 when it emerged from dormancy. In May of 2024 we emailed Jake and indicated the bamboo was growing again. Jake did not respond. We made attempts to contact Jake over the following weeks by phone and received no response. On June 3, 2024 I received a solicitation email from Jake asking if we were in need of any yard maintenance and he had time the following week to come by and provide a quote. We responded that we had been trying to contact him for 3 weeks about the bamboo and requested he provide us with a plan to complete that job. Jake did not respond. I sent text messages to Jake, including photos of the bamboo growth and have not received a response. Phone calls go directly to voicemail

Jake removed a large Douglas fir tree in our backyard and trimmed our tall cedar hedge. The workers were friendly fellows and they had all the right equipment. The cleanup was spotless, you can't tell they were ever here. We are having them back this winter to do a treatment to our fruit trees. Overall we are happy with their service.
