OUR STORY

Sooke Oceanside Brewery, born and bred out of the desire to bring the love of craft beer to our west coast community of Sooke, British Columbia.

The brewery was founded by Ryan Orr after an idea was born during a successful career as an executive chef. His downtime and passions were entertained in his garage ? brewing beer. Dam good beer. The family began to grow. Priorities began to evolve. Ryan wanted to create an exceptional beer, to build a local craft brewery and introduce others to a phenomenal beer experience they have never seen before. Head brewer Garritt Lalonde joined the team, bringing experience, creativity, and a passion for brewing solid, classic, great tasting beer.

Sooke Oceanside Brewery has evolved into a foundation of a lifelong journey with family, friends and the oceanside community, manifesting a long standing, award winning labor of love.
