These folks "manage" our new development in Parksville consisting of 63 strata lots for building free-standing homes. My wife & I moved into ours last September, but there continues to be construction all around us as the other lots are purchased and homes completed. Our property managers from Alliance, to the best of my knowledge have not ever visited the site as whenever we have called them about a particular issue or question they have no idea what we are talking about. We have a street that runs along the front of the homes and a back lane where owners access their garages. The opposite side of the lane is common property. Builders have left piles of left over or waste building materials, as well as food garbage that they are in no hurry to clean up. Besides being unsightly, it is unsanitary and attracts crows, seagulls and rats. The lane and even the street in front are often blocked by construction and contractor's personal vehicles. The driver of our garbage truck refuses to drive down the lane if it is even minimally blocked by construction vehicles, so our garbage doesn't get picked up. Alliance posted signs (for which the Strata paid) warning that vehicles parked on the road will be towed, yet the property management insists on not enforcing the signs that it put there! We expect we will have to change our management company before we find property managers who are actually interested in doing their jobs properly!
