West Coast Aquatic brings together diverse people who are passionate about the west coast of Vancouver Island - people who make a living from its waters, rely on its health for food, and protect its beauty ? to help improve their connection with the living landscape that they are a part of.

West Coast Aquatic works at a policy level through to a local stewardship level, emphasizing the integration of Indigenous, local and scientific knowledge.

The Alberni Aquarium and Stewardship Centre is a WCA initiative.
