Looking for recommendations for flag poles in Ottawa I'd like to install a wall mounted flagpole on the front of my house. Specifically on the garage which is made of brick. I've seen some basic wall mounted flagpoles in Home Depot but they look flimsy and since its pretty windy often, I'm afraid it will break easily or worse, it will break the brick. Anyone have experience on what the best flagpoles are, what the best screws are for drilling into brick and what store you you recommend? Bonus Question : Are we allowed to install vertical flagpoles on your front yard here in Ottawa? Anyone have one in their home and does the city allow it?
