About the Founder
Patricia Sawatzky, who has a passion for numbers and attention to detail, began her career as a freelance bookkeeper for a heavy equipment operator.

Over the years, she has been employed by a number of small businesses in a variety of industries, as well as some non-profits.
With more than 30 years? experience in professional bookkeeping, Patricia chose the entrepreneurial path and opened TAP Bookkeeping in Campbell River.

Since opening in 2010, the business has grown primarily through referrals from happy clients and accountants who appreciate the accuracy and timeliness of the work produced by the firm.
Patricia enjoys personally working with many different types of organizations and people?helping them effectively manage and grow their businesses, while relieving them of the often tedious rigors of bookkeeping tasks and government filings.

A member of the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada, Patricia has been a Certified Professional Bookkeeper since 2012.Her specialty is working with SAGE 50/Simply Accounting and the use of systems provided by PURE Bookkeeping. She has been an active member of Campbell River Toastmasters since 2012, is a member in good standing with the local Chamber of Commerce, as well as River City Business Networking.

In her spare time, Patricia enjoys: hiking the numerous trails in the area (especially Elk Falls), attending the CR Film Festival events, cycling, and boating. A resident of Campbell River since 2007, there are many areas here on the coast that I still want to explore.
