Looking for a structural Engineer referral for residential assessment I'm interested in having an engineering assessment done on my house, as we are considering a major renovation: adding a 2nd storey to our rancher. I really have no contacts in this industry or any way of knowing who to approach. Does anyone here have any suggestions on who I might call? I'm specifically looking for someone who can evaluate the foundation and existing structure to determine if a 2nd storey is feasible, and if so, how extensive the renovation might need to be.
